Talib Kweli
Quality

The MC’s MC. Talib Kweli has been one of hip-hop’s most consistent MCs.  From his entry point in the game with the historic Black Star project with Mos Def, to his Reflection Eternal partnership with producer Hi-Tek, Kweli has always rhymed with a lot of passion and a serious devotion to his craft.  On Quality, he has set out to make a record that straddles between the lines of underground hero and mainstream artist.  Kweli has definitely stepped up with the head-snapping sonics from A-list producers Jay Dee (Slum Village), Kane West (Jay-Z) and Megahertz (Nas).  Standout tracks include the testimonial “Get By,” the battle rap of “Guerrilla Monsoon Rap” w/ Black Thought & Pharaohe Monch, the soul searching of “Where Do We Go” w/ Res, and “Stand to The Side” w/ Vinia Mojica.  Also includes guest spots from Mos Def, Bilal & the Cocoa Brovaz.
