Gil Scott Heron
Small Talk at 125th and Lenox

If you missed the black experience in the sixties, no need to fear cause Gill Scott Heron is here. Gill Scott Heron, hands down, is considered one of the most controversial poets of the 60s, with songs like The Revolution Will Not Be Televised and Whiteys on the Moon. Gill Scott Heron managed to make his way into a small apartment in North Minneapolis with no major distribution or financial backing. Gill Scott Heron, through pure determination and help from god, has managed to gain exposure all over the world with his political commentary of the situations that plagued the black community in the sixties and even still today.
