Their Mission:
"Rest In Beats aims to help expose new and
alternative approaches to pursuing music careers by
becoming a primary source for information on the
history and changes in the art and commerce of
music. In the future, the R.I.B. project will
develop educational programs, such as
apprenticeships and mentorships with industry
professionals."

In Beats because:
The project will help empower our
community to both pursue our passions independently
and resist institutionalization. In 2009, it is
vital that youth have as mentors, elders who understand the importance of the
independent, creative
entrepreneurial spirit.
