Agreed.

Checked out Mother the other day (the 2009 Korean film, not the Debbie Reynolds one) and was pleasantly surprised. It raises some interesting questions about the relationship between love and madness/insanity (makes me re-think the whole 'I'm crazy about so-and-so' and what that actually means...) and the lengths to which we go to protect our loved ones (is loving someone enough justification for hurting someone else, even though someone else is probably someone else's loved one? And so on and so forth.)

Drive...i'm really into this movie. the soundtrack, the good v. evil struggle, the absurd violence opposite a modest, pure love story...nice. this is the same dude who directed Bronson...

Watched Drive this weekend, and it's great for all the reasons stated--thanks for the recommendation, Nikki. The other soundtrack I have on repeat right now is from Hanna. It's really good techno/electronica stuff by The Chemical Brothers.
