Poll: What should we do in regard to keeping the scholar of the month alive?

Is it a good idea to use the schools' lists of top students each month? Most mpls district schools honor one or two students each month with a student of the month award. It may help keep the scholar of the month column going, due to a lack of personnel able to commit to tracking and contacting nominees. On the flip side, it may make the whole section worthless, since the point is to honor those who the Liberator finds from its perspective, not the perspective of the staus quo in the schools. What should we do?

Poll: What should we do in regard to keeping the scholar of the month alive?
	Use the schools -- They already have a process in place that can be trusted.
	Don't do it until we find the time -- The Liberator should use its own process to honor those who don't get noticed by the schools
