NYC: Looking for a Roommate in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn

Hi,

Please help spread the word and pass along to your trusted, responsible and easy-to-get along with folks. Queer POC's are highly welcome!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We're looking for a 3rd roommate for our 3-bedroom duplex apartment on Bed-Stuy/Clinton Hill border. G train Bedford-Nostrand stop is literally around the corner. We are one block away from Tompkins Park and adjacent to a cute neighborhood café that offers free wifi. Your room is located on the 2nd floor of our duplex and is medium-sized, has wood floors and high ceilings as well as a double-wide closet. There is also extra storage space in our basement if needed. You'd be sharing the bathroom with one female. Utilities are split 3-ways and include gas/heat, electricity & wireless internet. We have a TV in the living room (no TV stations available, but we do have a DVD player to play movies as well as tons of DVDs) and two large, comfy, dog-friendly couches :-)
You’ll be sharing this apartment with 2 friendly, laid back 30-something women and one large, friendly dog. We would consider having another dog in the house on a case-by-case basis, but definitely no cats! I love them, but my dog does not.
What we are looking for in a roommate:
* Queer-friendly and open-minded; female preferred
* Someone who enjoys an after-work drink every so often (or a game of Scrabble) would be wonderful
* A love for big dogs
* Cleanliness is important to us, particularly with the bathroom and common area. Please pick up after yourself, do your own dishes (we have a dishwasher that works very well though so this shouldn't be a problem!) and take out the trash/recyclables when they’re overflowing.
* Please be willing to have a conversation and to compromise about any issues that may arise
* Ability to pay rent on time is important. Rent is due on the 1st of every month, but as we mail our checks to the landlord, they need to be written no later than the 27th of each month.
Move in date is March 15th. Please email back with some details about yourself, your schedule and what you are looking for in a living situation. We look forward to hearing from you!
