Auditions - Muntu Dance Theater of Chicago

Muntu Dance Theatre of Chicago is seeking trained, experienced dancers & drummers in a variety of genres. Training in African Dance & Music genres preferred. Auditions being held Saturday, April 30, 2011 1:30pm-4:00pm at the First Baptist Church, 935 East 50th Street in Chicago.

Paid rehearsals & Performances

2011-2012 season will include new works by Reggie Wilson of Fist & Heel Performing Group and Theo Jamison from the Katherine Dunham Center for the Performing Arts; as well as works from Ron K. Brown of EVIDENCE and Muntu's own Artistic Director, Amaniyea Payne.

Artists should bring a bio and prepare a 2-3 minute dance or drum presentation.
