Exit Through The Gift Shop Greenburg Salt Inception Sugata Sanshiro (classic, but just saw it) It Might Get Loud (documentary) Hot Tub Time Machine (lol) The Other Guys (lol) Death at a Funeral had its moments. //// Planning to watch The Prestige soon... and a joint my homie lent me from his netflix stash called "Putney Swope (Don't Rock The Boat... Sink It)" haha, can't wait. Another friend said the Basquiat joint "Radiant Child" was really good. A Prophet was good btw. I'm mad I would have never heard of it tho if it weren't for some random list of the best foreign films of the year I stumbled on at some obscure blog I never read again. |

saw Never Let Me Go this weekend too...very good. prolly gonna have to peep it once more to really absorbed what was goin on...
heard a good interview with director mark romanek on an LA radio station: http://www.kcrw.com/etc/programs/tt/tt10...ek_never_l havent seen Whale Rider or Once Were Warriors....will add to the list saw a movie called City Island...surprisingly good. |

Are there any clean sites that simply list new releases that are coming out of the festivals? Even something as simple as how this thread is composed of lists would be good.

nah, not that i know of other than goin directly to the sites of prod. companies that have put out films that i've responded to...
A site i check regularly is Film Movement...i've seen more than few worthwhile films from their collection...good mix of indie and international films... |
